The Daily Herald reports good news about small businesses in its editorial today, along with a great reminder of the importance of buying local. Citing another source it says, “if every household in Utah County shifted just 10 percent of its holiday spending to local businesses this year, an additional $3.97 million would be pumped back into the local economy.”
Speaking of local businesses, one of the things that makes Provo great is its variety of unique specialty stores in the downtown area. One of them is the Great Salt Lake Guitar Company. The video above is about Ken Stika who started it all.
