So what do you think of when you hear the word bond? Sorry but for me I hear some guy with a cool voice say, “My name is Bond – James Bond.”
Not so with the school board. They have been working hard to find the formula to deal with aging buildings. The problem is real and the School Board is proposing a $90,000,000 bond that voters will vote on next November.
My hats off to the Board for their proactive approach of getting out to residents a year in advance of the vote to explain the need. I hope every resident will take the time to carefully study out the issue.
The board is hosting a series of public meetings during the next two weeks:
Rock Canyon – Wednesday, November 13, 7:00 pm
Edgemont – Thursday, November 14, 6:00 pm
Sunset View – Tuesday, November 19, 6:00 pm
Provost – Wednesday, November 20, 7:00 pm
Dixon – Thursday, November 21, 7:00 pm
