Utah Lake Festival

Come experience sandy beaches, breathtaking lakeside views, and a variety of exhilarating water sports right in your own backyard. The Utah Lake festival is on Saturday, June 7, 2014 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm and offers residents of the Wasatch Front the opportunity to enjoy all that the lake has to offer as well as learn about the lake’s ecosystem, native species and the importance of stewardship.

The festival will take place at the Utah Lake State park (4400 West Center Street, Provo) and admissions and activities are absolutely FREE!

Activities include:

  • Games and activities for kids
  • Sand Volleyball
  • Horseshoes
  • Free fishing including instructions, free fishing pole rentals and bait
  • Casting target practice
  • Boat tours
  • A sailboat regatta
  • Boat show
  • Hay rides
  • Water equipment rentals (kayaks, jet skis, paddle boat, and more!)
  • Educational Booths

      This Saturday, June 7 is free fishing day in Utah, so adults will not need a fishing license.
