It wasn’t too long ago that Imagine Dragons was captivating Provo, and fans couldn’t help but feel that the band was destined to go places. Behind the scenes Imagine Dragons was shopping their music around, looking for interest from labels and others in the industry. Their biggest hit at that point, “It’s Time,” seemed like the best bet at drawing attention. It was right about this time that Brittany Tolman and her husband Andrew parted with the band.

Andrew quickly moved on to a new group, finding a promising future with The Moth & The Flame. While Andrew’s new band toured Europe with his old friends, Imagine Dragons, Brittany was working on her own music.

Mount Saint is an indie-pop project started by Tolman and her brothers Clint and Calvin Riley Holgate. After working with local legend Nate Pyfer and Mike Roskelly of Neon Trees, the band has high expectations surrounding them as they make their live debut this Saturday at 8:00 pm @ Velour in Provo. The show is headlined by The New Electric Sound with Swim and Coral Bones also on the ticket. With such a stellar lineup there will certainly be a sold out show for Mount Saint’s debut. Presale tickets for the event can be found at http://www.24tix.com/event.html?show_id=T35197432693519743269314.
