Provo’s Gift to the World #ProvoChristmas

I can’t even begin to express how excited I am for this project. Some of Provo’s most talented artists along with our in-house creative team have volunteered their time and talent to create a Christmas album featuring local artists and downtown businesses.

The plan is to release a series of music videos on social media starting Monday, December 1. In addition, a CD has been produced and will be sold at participating downtown businesses for $10. Thanks to some generous donations (still looking for more) with 100% of the proceeds being donated to our local United Way’s Sub for Santa program!

Everyone that has heard about this project has jumped in with both feet to help. In just a very few short days this entire project has been put together by a very small group of dedicated Provo City Employees, talented artists and building owners in our downtown.

How can you help? Buy a CD, buy a lot of CDs, spread the word on social media using #ProvoChristmas and tagging @ProvoCity or donate a few dollars to help us cover the production costs.

You can download the entire album today by pre-ordering the CD online at You will receive the CD’s around December 8th. After the 8th You can get yours at Provo’s 311 desk (351 West Center), Utah Valley Chamber Office (111 S University Ave), Velour, 100 Block, Unhinged, Foxglove, Sodalicious, or Los Hermanos. *Any interested Provo businesses can sell the Christmas album in their store. If you would like to be added to the list, send me an email

All the on-site locations will be accepting cash-only (we’re trying to make it as simple as possible for accounting purposes). Our goal is to raise $20,000 for the United Way which will help hundreds of less-fortunate families in our Valley.

My sincere thanks so many that have been part of this effort.
