Come one, come all to the masquerade ball! The Provo Recreation Center is hosting a Mardi Gras Celebration on Tuesday, February 17 from 7:00 – 10:00 pm. Whether you bring a date or come stag, dress your best and don a mask for this mystic celebration of food and frivolity. Live music, prize giveaways, appetizers, and desserts are all just a taste of the excitement behind every mask.
Tickets are on sale now at the Recreation Center for $10/person. Couples can grab two tickets for a discount = $18 for two tickets (plus two free masks)! *Google Fiber has provided free masks to the first 200 tickets purchased!
The event will include free mocktails and hors d’oeuvres featuring New Orleans style food: beignets, hush puppies, and jambalaya. Experience southern fortune telling, the photo booth (with free prints), the dance floor with DJ, and of course lots and lots of beads. Help us bring this tradition to Provo!
Attire is semi-formal and masks are highly encouraged. Must be at least 17 years old to attend and child care will be provided if requested at time of registration. For more information or to RSVP, visit the event page here »
Singles Awareness Day
During this season of love and romance, Parks and Recreation would like to offer single men and women a special discount on Mardi Gras Masquerade tickets. Don’t even think about Valentine’s Day, just focus on Tuesday’s party, Mardi Gras.
Buy your discounted “SAD” tickets to the Mardi Gras for $8! Sale lasts February 13-14, tickets available at Provo Recreation Center. Did we mention that this is a better price than the couple’s package? We thought you’d like that.
