It’s Provo’s 166 birthday today! (No joke) and we are celebrating all week long! Local businesses, community members, and organizations are hosting parties for the public – there has been at least one party scheduled every day this week! Provo’s Birthday Block Party
Come celebrate Provo City’s 166th birthday at DevMountain & Freshly Picked block party (560 S 100 W), Wednesday, April 1 from 12:00 – 2:00 pm. Everyone is invited to come grab a dog, bounce in our bouncy house, eat some cake bites, meet Provo Police, grab a drink & meet Provo’s Mayor! RSVP to tell us you are coming!
Provo Founder’s Day Celebration
A celebration of the 166th anniversary of Provo’s founding will be held at Provo Pioneer Village on Wednesday, April 1, 2015. The gates of the pioneer village will open at 5:00 p.m. for free, self-guided tours of the village. At 6:00 p.m., there will be a special program about the Pony Express, featuring Provo historian Robert Carter and musician Elaine Brewster. Refreshments will be provided after the program.

Provo Birthday Bike Ride
Join the Provo City Council for a bicycle ride around some of Provo’s historic locations in celebration of the city’s 166th birthday on Thursday, April 2, 2015. There will be food, fun, and an Instagram contest! The bike ride begins at 6:00 pm at Pioneer Park (500 W Center) & ends at Fort Utah Park (22 N Geneva Rd).
