For those who feel we take ourselves too seriously in the City – take heart and find comfort in Provo’s birthday. Yes, it’s April Fools Day and that’s no joke.
Come help us celebrate today at Provo Founders Day Celebration in our Pioneer Village this evening. We’ll kick things off with tours and self-guided visits starting at 5:00 p.m. and will remain open through 8:00 p.m.
At 6:30 PM, Provo historian Robert Carter and storyteller-musician Elaine Brewster will present a short program featuring Provo’s history and the song “When It’s Springtime in the Rockies,” which was written in Provo. Traditional refreshments will be provided after the program.
Place: North Park 500 N 500 W At the Provo Pioneer Village
