Back to School

School is back in session! And to help make your trek to and from school safe and easier, the Provo 300 South project team has constructed temporary crossings at University Avenue, 200 East, 400 East and 700 East. I recommend that you use the 400 East crossing because sidewalks are intact near there on both sides of 300 South. Other crossing locations are open, but sidewalks are currently being installed from 450 East to 700 East.

Provo 300 South Spanish & English Newsletter_8.12.16 (1)_Page_1_Image_0004Motorists are encouraged to be aware of an increase in pedestrian traffic during school times. Pedestrians are asked to keep out of the work zone for their safety.

A traffic shift between 450 East and 700 East is planned for late September and pedestrian crossing locations may change. More information will be provided as schedules are confirmed.

Traffic Impact

During construction 300 South will be reduced to one lane in each direction. Motorists should be prepared for significant delays and use alternate routes like I-15 or University Avenue when possible. Area residents and businesses can expect short-term, intermittent driveway interruptions, and construction work during the day and at night to complete work this year.
