Calling all young scientists! Provo City Parks and Recreation Department will be holding their annual Kids Science Palooza at the Provo Recreation Center (320 W 500 N) tomorrow – Saturday, March 25 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. This year our theme is Exploration! Come and explore outer space, ancient Egypt, and the deep sea.

Admission is $5 for children 3-18, free for adults with paid child and ages 3 and under free. All tickets must be pre-purchased at the Provo Recreation Center or online here.

The Science Palooza is a great way to show kids how fun science can be! Don’t miss your chance to come and discover the world of science.

Science Activities

Decipher hieroglyphics, dive into the deep recesses of the sea, and discern the physics of outer space. Kids will have the chance to become space, land, and scuba certified by completing a series of adventures and activities. Get ready for over 25 science booths ready teach you how fun science can be! We will also have Mad Science and Wild Wonders Animal Show performing throughout the event. Parents will have opportunities to take home ideas and instructions for leading fun science activities at home while kids enjoy interacting with local scientists and students from across the valley. This is a great family event for all ages and for kids to spark their interest in science!
