This will be a family-friendly historical event to celebrate the city’s story. The gates will open at 5:00 pm. At 6:00 Robert Carter, historian and author of three books, will give a presentation on the history of Founder’s Day celebrations in the Carriage House. Mr. Carter is very knowledgable and entertaining, so this lecture is not one to be missed! A children’s program will be held in the schoolhouse and there will be blacksmithing demonstrations in the blacksmith shop.
