5 Awesome Events in Provo this Weekend!


There are so many fun things to do in Provo that I can’t list them all in one blog post but what I can do is share the events that are happening this weekend. Just looking at my calendar I feel like I’ve come up with a pretty great. So to kickstart your summer adventures, here are 5 awesome events held in Provo this weekend:

First Friday Art Stroll

Friday, June 2 | 7-9 PM
Participating Downtown Provo Art Galleries

Come out for Downtown Provo’s June Art Stroll this Friday from 7-9 pm. Enjoy the good weather, good art, good music, and good company! Many Local businesses are setting up space for artists to display their work or perform for a group. Some artists have paintings and others are reciting poetry. Each business has their own space with a different artists.There will be 5 art galleries participating this weekend including: UnhingedPioneer BookHERE ProvoAllen’s Camera, and the Covey Center for the Arts. So come downtown and see whats going on.

Rooftop Concert Series

Friday, June 2 | 7:30 PM
100 W Center Street

Get ready to rock with Joshua James, Brumby, and MMEND on Friday, June 2nd! We’ll see you in front of the Nu Skin building at 100 W and Center Street in Provo. The concert starts at 7:30 pm and did I mention that it’s free? This is one show you won’t want to miss, so bring some friends and get ready for something great!

Provo Farmers Market

Saturday, June 3 | 9 AM – 2 PM
Pioneer Park (500 W Center Street)

Get ready for fresh produce, artisans, local honey vendors, food trucks, fudge, macaroons, homemade pies, and food of every style! The Provo’s Farmers Market season starts Saturday, June 3rd and is held each Saturday at Pioneer Park from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm. Bring your family, meet your neighbors, browse the vendors, stock up on healthy whole fruits and vegetables for the week and enjoy the ambiance.

Utah Lake Festival

Saturday, June 3 | 10 AM – 2 PM
Utah Lake State Park (4400 West Center Street, Provo)

Come experience sandy beaches, breathtaking lakeside views, and a variety of exhilarating water sports right in your own backyard. The Utah Lake Festival is on Saturday, June 3 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm and offers residents of the Wasatch Front the opportunity to enjoy all that the lake has to offer as well as learn about the lake’s ecosystem, native species and the importance of stewardship.

Come enjoy the following:

  • Collect stamps on a Utah Lake punch card (everyone gets one) and get a prize
  • Giant fish sculpture & sandcastle building
  • Music throughout the park

Pioneer Craft Fair

Saturday, June 3 | 10 AM – 2 PM
Provo Pioneer Village (500 W 600 N)

Local artisans will be at the Provo Pioneer Village on Saturday, June 3 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm to display and sell their handmade wares. There will also be many Pioneer handicrafts that you can learn about and participate in, such as making cornhusk dolls, blacksmithing, spinning, and more.
