Shhhh! You are quietly invited to attend the Provo Women’s Day After Party on Wednesday, March 8th! So grab your ticket, flapper attire and head on over to the Provo Recreation Center for a speakeasy-style dance party for mothers, daughters, women and rebels! Be sure to enter through the Rec Center’s east entrance to find your way to the speakeasy. (Hint: look for the sign that says, “East Bay Loading Dock”.)
Tickets are $10/person and 100% of the proceeds will go towards United Way’s “Everyday Strong” program. Buy your ticket here.
Your ticket grants you exclusive access to this once-in-a-lifetime dance party. So get ready for photo ops, selfie stations, balloon drops, prizes and so much more! DJ Skratchmo will be in the house along with guest appearances by Bboy Federation, Lindy Hop Dance Team and Mayor John Curtis. We’ll be serving handcrafted mocktails and savory hors d’oeuvres all night long. (Free food people!) And every guest will receive a retro headband!
Be sure to get there early to kick things off with a balloon drop filled with prizes. The first 50 guests in line will receive some extra special swag (like a sound activiated LED wristband) and some VIP treatment!
The Provo Recreation Center is also providing free child care to the first 25 children registered (ages 5-10). After you’ve purchased your dance ticket you can register your child for free child watch here to reserve their spot. First come first serve.
Dress code: Think 1920’s flapper era or wear white as a nod to the Suffragate movement.
